The 109th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard supports scientific research on the Greenland icecap and Antarctica. Their missions also include Aeromedical Evacuation from front-line combat zones and remote emergencies worldwide.
We have done two projects for the NYANG and held regular meetings during the development process, including giving presentations and working with the team to build the final product. Our solutions included custom forms, reports, and Office ribbons.
We developed an Access application to track the software licence installations on all the computers on the base. The application included customizable reports and forms that display the current status of all the installations and computers.
The NY Air National Guard flys several hundred missions to Greenland and Antartica every year. They were tracking mission data using an Excel spreadsheet and it was inefficient and cumbersome to maintain.
We converted the application to a relational database model in Access and developed two new applications to simplify and organize the data maintenance goal.
